Halloween Skull Drawing Lesson
Begin by drawing the circle that will guide the head of the skull. After that, sketch in the guidelines to be used to design the face.
Utilizing the outline you created, start sketching out the exact head shape to your head. The temples should be shaped like this and the cheekbones should be visible.
The next step is to sketch out the hollows that will form eyes sockets. While drawing these, we’d like to create an expressionist or angry look therefore, make sure you draw a slight dip in the top portion that makes up the shape. Draw the definition of the brows in order to create the shape of the brow bone. There’s also some details along the eyes and extends into the middle of both eyes as you can see in this image. Make sure to add details on the top of the skull as well.
Next, we’ll take out the handkerchief that is the one that covers the hollow of the nose and the mouth region. As you draw the scarf make sure to make an outline of cheeks, as well as to give definition to your skull’s appearance. Incorporate the wrinkles, folds, and creases features to your scarf, too. Once you are pleased with the result, you are able to move onto the next stage.
This is where you draw your design design onto the scarf. I decided to create candy corns, but you are able to select any pattern you prefer for your Halloween skull. You can also you can add some darkening to the left side of your scarf.
All you need to do is draw the proper thick darkened liner to give clarity and depth in the scarves. Make sure to erase your mistakes and guides, too.
After all was said and done, your drawing should be like the image you see. Of course you need to fill in the sockets and hollows of your eyes and then draw your Halloween skull.
